a6300Say hello to the upgrade for Sony’s great a6000 mirrorless shooter w/ the A6300.  This new shooter brings over plenty of new treats to the mix which will make plenty of folks want to keep an eye on this.  This brings over the joys of 4K video into the mix along w/ the title of the world’s fastest auto-focus.

You got an amazing 24.2MP APS-C Exmor sensor, powered by Sony’s BIONZ X Image processor, a tilting 3inch LED display, shoot at 11fps, record 4K video internally, and has a new 4D Focus system that can focus on a subject in just 0.05 seconds w/ 425 phase detection auto-focus points.  For the serious video heads out there, it records 4K at a bitrate of 100 Mbps and 1080p up to 120fps to enjoy super slow-mo action.  You also have S-Log recording to really have fun w/ your footage while editing.

This even has a mic input minus a headphone jack – making this a great upgrade for those of you coming from the NEX-line.  The A6300 will be available in March as it will cost $1,000 for the body alone and $1,150 w/ the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens.  I am definitely looking at this as something I may want to pick up in the near future.
