Unofficially kicking off the many announcements of Google I/O 2016 is the expansion of Android Pay. Google’s mobile payment service makes its way across the seas to the UK.
The current list of banks includes Bank of Scotland, First Direct, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, M&S Bank, MBNA, and Nationwide Building Society. As usual, this is the launch list as more will arrive at a later time/date. UK users will also be able to utilize it at places like Boots, Waitrose,the Tube, bus and the train.
Promotions will arrive from Google & Starbucks too BTW. Android Pay isn’t done w/ its expansion as it will arrive in Australia and Singapore soon as well.
