This morning T-Mobile announced an interesting new plan made specifically for those of you travelling to the US for a certain period of time. Introducing the T-Mo Tourist Plan: this will allow you to get 3 weeks of service that includes 1000 minutes of calling within the US, unlimited data w 2GB of LTE, and unlimited domestic/international texting to over 140 countries. All of this along w/ the T-Mo covering the cost of the SIM card & no activation fees.
The Tourist Plan will only cover 3 weeks of service and all you have to do is bring your unlocked device to a US T-Mobile location. Unfortunately, it does not cover international texting at all BTW. The new plan will become available on June 12th.
