Well, we know that another year means another annual device. This time around, we got a new Active device from Samsung. A new ruggedized version of the Galaxy S7 as the S7 Active as an AT&T exclusive. With plenty of leaks emerged, its time to divulge on them as we’re apparently getting closer to launch.
The S7 Active retains its IP68 dust & water-resistance from the standard S7 but w/ added Military Standard frame to protect against shocks, vibration, humidity, and rain. This makes it weigh a bit heavier at 185g vs the 170g of the S7. It has a 5.1inch Quad HD Super AMOLED, it is powered by a Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage w/ microSD card slot, f/1.7 12MP rear-facing shooter, and a massive 4000 mAh battery inside.
The S7 Active will be available in two colors: Green and Desert Camo. It is slated for a June 10th launch and will only be sold here in the US.
