Microsoft made sure to wrap up their E3 press event w/ an interesting announcement: their next console. Yeah but not like the Xbox 2 or anything but a more powerful version of the Xbox One. It will be the part of the new Xbox One family (standard console, S console, & Scorpio console).
Due out during the holiday season of 2017, Scorpio is made to better take on higher gaming & graphics coming down the pipeline. It will have 6 teraflops of GPU to tackle true 4K gaming along w/ Hi-Fi VR gaming. This is Xbox’s future but will still work w/ all of the previous Xbox One games & accessories as well.
No word on design or even price point but this won’t be cheap at all. I guessing around the $500 mark or slightly higher. What’re your thoughts on Microsoft’s upcoming gaming console?
