tesla stock lead 2In case you thought Elon Musk was gonna slow down after Tesla’s Model 3, you thought wrong.  Back in 2006, Musk broke down everything he wanted to accomplish as part of his ‘Secret Tesla Motors Master Plan’ back when Tesla only had the Roadster.  That plan included their expansion to vehicles now known as the Model S and the Model 3 as he just unveiled the next part of his plan.

He has dreams of bringing forth an SUV and a pickup truck under the fully-electric Tesla line as well as a heavy duty cargo truck under the name Tesla Semi and a fully-electric bus.  The latter of the 2 are set to be unveiled sometime next year.  The truck will deliver a huge reduction in the cost of cargo transport and boosting safety measures.  While the autonomous electric bus will make the driver a fleet manager that will add more seating and better acceleration.  Tesla wants all of their vehicles are more to be completely autonomous as well.  In case you thought, Telsa was stopping at the AutoPilot program, it is only the beginning.

Tesla wants all of their vehicles are more to be completely autonomous as well.  In case you thought, Telsa was stopping at the AutoPilot program, it is only the beginning.  From there, we will go to the Summon feature to eventually turn into car-sharing.  So say you’re on vacation somewhere, your car will be part of a shared fleet to rented to make you some $$$ while you’re away.

And lastly, he wants to better bring SolarCity and Tesla closer together.  So you can pick up the Tesla PowerWall home battery and then utilize them w/ SolarCity’s solar panels.  This one is a no-brainer for the most part.

But don’t get too excited just yet as Musk still has to finish the end of his original Master Plan by putting the affordable Model 3 to as many drivers as possible.  I, myself, am shooting to acquire one by 2018, 2020 at the most.

What’re your thoughts on Musk’s plans for the future?
