NX theoryWhile still riding high on the excitement of the upcoming Zelda game, new details arise on Nintendo’s next-gen console: the NX.  According to the folks over at Eurogamer, it will be a portable console that you can play on its own screen or hook up to your TV.

Think of a powerful version of the Wii U controller as the new console.

It is said to have a screen w/ 2 controllers on each side that can be attached/detached.  As well as being powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra mobile CPU as the goal isn’t to match the competition but to be portable.  Also, they said it will bring forth the return of game cartridges (yes, cartridges).  Word has it that they would utilize 32GB cartridges w/ the option of digital downloads.  BTW, don’t expect it to be backwards compatible according to their reports.

We’re supposed to get an official reveal of the console sometime in September w/ an official launch in March 2017.  If any of this holds out to be true, does this kill the interest in the NX or pique it even more?
