We've heard rumblings of it and now its here. Introducing GoPro's 1st drone: the Karma. It is foldable and it ships in a bundle that includes its own 3-axis stabilizer that can be used as a handheld and its own carrying case. It also has a touchscreen for its drone controller that resembles a gaming controller.
GoPro made sure to give it all of the features to make it easy to use. One button for takeoff/landing, the ability to track subjects, and put the camera up as the head so the propellers don't get in the shot at all.
The good news is that it comes w/ a handheld stabilizer along w/ the carrying case & drone base. The bad news is that you'll have to bring your own camera to the Karma for the $799 price point. To get it w/ the GoPro 5 will cost you $1099. So you have to make sure you're really interested in the 1st foldable by GoPro.
The Karma drone will be available to all on October 23rd.
