We now enter Episode 2 of Telltale's Batman game: Children Of Arkham.  Last time around, it laid out the groundwork on how to fight in this new Batman and how to navigate (fight, access items, etc.) through the game.  Things step up a bit more this time around.

A lot of other characters that were all over the 1st episode take a back seat as The Penguin and everything he's been up to comes to light.  Also, more info arrives of the Wayne family involvement to Falcone and other connections.  Time to dive a bit more into the 2nd part of the game.

Now in the 1st time around, we learning the lay of the land a bit as the real threat and trouble are revealed this time around.  For many people looking to do more or at least the same amount of fighting/detective work from episode 1, not happening here.  This one is more or less strictly story w/ 3 fight sequences (2 shorter ones and 1 longer one).

This is one of the more interesting Batman story told in game format thus far.

Tipping towards the latter part of the game, we get to see why this was called Children Of Arkham.  I won't spoil it but it involves the Penguin as there is still more to know about them we presume is coming within the next episodes.  Penguin doesn't get the grand reveal as you might expect but this isn't the typical Oswald Cobblepot from the comics.

There were times where I forgot to act in time as I was doing more watching the game than playing it.

Even though its only 2 episodes in, the Batman Telltale Games really comes into its own.  There isn't a whole lot of fighting compared to episode 1.  This was definitely the episode to push turmoil onto Bruce Wayne's point of view of his family legacy.  A lot of new information comes to light to really help grant Telltale a Gold star for their storytelling abilities.  But if you're looking to beat on some more bad guys, this won't be the episode for you.

Whatever the case, I still enjoyed the game.  Mind you, this isn't a $60 game so mind your complaints.   I, for one, can wait until the 3rd one.
