Google Home.  Google’s answer to Amazon’s Echo was unveiled at I/O a few months back and we got a decent amount of info on it.  For a recap, it is a small speaker w/ a modular-like case and LED lights within.  It has powerful mics to pick up your voice from a few feet away as it is always-listening and powered by Google Assistant.

We know it won’t support multiple Google accounts at launch but it will work w/ other smart home products like Nest, Chromecast, etc.  We didn’t know how much it would cost or when it would become available.   That all changes today.  It will support YouTube Music, Google Play Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn w/the option to decide which service will be the default one.  It can also work as a Chromecast Audio receiver to cast your tunes to your connected speakers/TV.

Google Home is coming in November and will be priced at $129 – which is actually cheaper than Amazon’s Echo device.  With it you will get 6-months of YouTube Red.

So who’s looking to pick this up?
