GS7 review-4It has been a rough few months for Samsung, especially w/ the whole Note 7 exploding batteries reports happening all over.  It got so bad that the company had to recall the device as a whole and lost more than $5 billion from it in the process.  This coupled along w/ all of the bad press the company has been getting hit with.

Whatever the case, the Note 7 is dead and its time to move forward to the next big thing – namely the Galaxy S8.  Other than making sure these batteries don’t explode, they’re gonna focus on AI, improving the cameras + internals, and new design.

Sooner or later, someone was gonna come out w/ a 4K screen on a smartphone.

For starters, Samsung has recently acquired an AI company called Viv Labs to beef up their S Voice to the levels of Google Assistant, Cortana, & Siri.  The current rumors talk of a really high-end monster of smartphone w/ the S8 Edge.  Word has it that we may see a 5.5inch 4K AMOLED display w/ a whopping 806ppi, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and either a Snapdragon 830 or their new Exynos CPU.

We expect to see the Galaxy S8 at MWC next year like we’ve been seeing lately.  There haven’t really been any leaks yet but there’s time for photos to be unearthed.  And of course many of these specs will make its way to the Note 8.
