Over the weekend, Tesla unveiled a new video which displays a demo of what a completely autonomous car from them would look like. You can consider this Autopilot Level 5 if you will.
In the video above, you see the Model S utilizing their built-in cameras & sensors to detect everything from pedestrians, signs, road lines, traffic lights, other vehicles on the road, and much more. Along w/ that, it can figure out an ideal route based on your surroundings. All of the aforementioned w/ great reactions in real-time.
Having demoed Autopilot in its current state on a Model S, that along was impressive. This is definitely some next level sh*t. Tesla will definitely get more customers over the next few months as the more affordable Model 3 starts hitting the road. Welcome to the future of Tesla as it is only the beginning.
