We talked about Huawei Watch 2 during its announcement at MWC in February even though we were not in attendance.  They took a different approach in regards to its overall look so instead of the more premium look, we get a sportier one.

It is running Android Wear 2.0 and is health & fitness-focused w/ an IP68 water-resistant body, a PPG heart-rate sensor, GPS, and several apps preloaded for tracking like Runtastic, Google Fit, its own daily step counter, & Workout apps.  It even has NFC for Android Pay support.  Everything minus LTE to support phone calls but they are in the process of ironing out deals w/ carriers to make that happen.

Today, it is finally available in here in the US at several retailers (both physical and online) like Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, & NewEgg.  It will cost you $300 and for those of you looking for the more better-looking one, you’ll have to wait for the Huawei Watch 2 Classic as it is set to arrive in the near future for $370.

As an added bonus, you get 10 weeks fo Google Play music for free w/ your purchase.  So who’s gonna get one or wait for Watch 2 Classic?
