mac-sierra-photosYes, believe it or not.  The new macOS is called High Sierra (really?) as they unveiled it today and will arrive in developer beta today, public beta later this month, and coming officially this fall.  

It is gonna be faster, safer, and make apps use even less space.  It will help JavaScript performance on Safari 80% faster than Chrome.  The Mail app gets better & works better w/ Spotlight Search.  The Photos app is getting better w/ the update to offer better management of photos w/ light editing tools.  In bigger news, Apple will bring the new Apple File System for faster & easier filesystem.  

In bigger news, Apple will bring the new Apple File System for faster & easier filesystem.  Apple is switching from H264 to H265 video codec to give you 40% better graphics compression.  The new codec will also be supported on the new MacBook Pros as well.  And lastly, the new update will bring forth VR support for all things Mac.  

Other than that, it will be mostly under-the-hood improvements.  So who’s looking forward to VR support & more on your Mac?
