This bit of camera news won’t be for everyone as this will be for the more hardcore or professional videographers & filmmakers. A few weeks ago, Canon beefed up their EOS C (Cinema) line w/ the C200 & C200B.
This might be even more powerful than the C300.
Canon’s latest toy brings forth a Super 35mm CMOS sensor w/ DualPixel CMOS autofocus technology capable of internal 4K RAW for light + MP4 format, continuous 120fps at High Frame Rate @1080p, up to 15-stops dynamic range (or Cinema RAW light), powered by dual DIGIC DV 6 processors, 2 XLR audio inputs, a rotating 4inch LCD display + camera grip, 1 CFast card + 2 SD card slots, and 1 Ethernet connector.
So if you’re a part of a video team and looking to upgrade your older C-series or come back to Canon from Sony, this might the camera for you. The C200 & C200B will be out later this year in August priced at $7,500 & $6,000.
