iphone-8-renderAnother day, another iPhone 8 rumor.  Originally the iPhone 8 was said to be a high-end version of the iPhone but w/ every rumor its sounding more & more like their take on the Galaxy S8.

Previously, the i8 was supposed to have their Touch ID sensor directly underneath the bezel-less touchscreen display.  It would be quite the technological feat if they were to pull this off and it works as well as previous iPhones.  Unfortunately, they’re talking about no fingerprint reader or Touch ID built into the OLED display panel.  So what does this mean?  This means that we’ll a separate fingerprint reader on the rear w/ possibly a digital home button instead like on the Galaxy S8

Mind you that, there are several reports on the matter w/ some saying it will have and others saying that it won’t.  I think they should wait for the S-line next year to pull this off as typically the 1st iteration of new tech can sometimes be faulty.  And w/ this being the 10-year anniversary of the iPhone, I’d imagine Apple would want that to go on sale w/o any unnecessary hitches.
