Even though we’re only about 24 hours away from its reveal, we got intel on what specs & features to expect from the 1st smartphone from Razer. We’re dubbing it the Razer Phone until its official moniker comes to light.
Thanks to a listing on 3G UK that was captured on reddit, we know what’s under the hood. It will have a 5.72inch IGZO display w/ 120Hz refresh rate + wide color gamut, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Dolby ATMOS sound via dual front-facing speakers w/ amp, dual camera setup consisting of a f/1.7 wide-angle 12MP + f/2.6 zoom 13MP cameras, and a 4000 mAh battery w/ Quick Charge.
We can presume it will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 CPU unless they go left field and put an Intel CPU inside. With all of that power inside, we can expect some mirroring or high-quality gaming features set to arrive w/ it. The leaked & pixelated image reminds me of the Nextbit Robin which Razer acquired earlier this year.
So based on these internals, would the Razer Phone pull you away from the iPhone X, Note 8 Pixel 2, or other flagship smartphone?
