Yesterday, Google made sure to update their the Home software to keep up w/ their Home hardware & their newer abilities. This will give it a new look & meant to make it a lot easier to find content to play/stream.
You now have new navigation buttons, better recommendations from streaming services w/ more search filters. The update also brings more casting features to Android users. You can now use the app to cast trailers to a connected TV while still browsing on your phone. And lastly, we have advanced sound settings where you can adjust bass & treble on the Google Home & Home Mini.
So if you don’t have the update by now, be on the lookout for it.
