Even though it pretty much leaked in full yesterday courtesy of the site DroneDJ, here is the new DJI Mavic Air. This looks to be the perfect blend of the Mavic Pro & the Spark from DJI. This new Mavic offers a smaller frame w/ folding arms, 4K video, and 21 minutes of battery life.

Think of the power of the Mavic in the size of the Spark.

This is armed w/ a 32MP camera mounted on a 3-way gimbal w/ panorama support, capable of 4K video @30fps + 1080p@120fps slow motion, 8GB of storage, USB-C port, it retains the foldable legs from the Mavic Pro, gesture control from the Spark, obstacle avoidance sensors on the front/rear/bottom, visual positioning system for improved controls in a variety of situations, 21-minute flight time, in Sport mode can get up to 42MPH, and works w/ DJI Goggles.

Pricing will start on $799 for the guards, battery, and remote. The Fly More combo offers extra accessories and batteries for $999. Pre-orders kick off today at DJI site and ships on January 28th.  The Air will arrive in the colors of Arctic White, Black Steel, and Flame Red. Will you be picking this one up? Or do you already have a DJI drone? Sound off.
