Along w/ the notch, it looks like 2018 will offer a nice resurgence for Android-based smartwatches – namely Wear OS.  We already caught wind of the existence of a Google Pixel Watch and now we’re hearing that the next iteration of the Gear S smartwatch won’t run their own Tizen OS but run Google’s Wear OS.

This originally popped up on a Weibo forum and was recently co-signed by EvLeaks aka Evan Blass.  This would mark the return of Samsung running Google’s smartwatch OS since 2014’s Gear Live during the earlier days of Android Wear.

Not sure if this would mean Google is working w/ Samsung for the Pixel Watch or will this be a separate smartwatch on its own.  Who’s interested in the return of Samsung to Wear OS & who’s buying?
