This is not just a portable charger.  This is a 20,000 mAh one from Nimble.  Who is Nimble?  They are all about reducing e-waste (electronic waste like old batteries & such) by recycling 1lbs of e-waste for every product sold.  So not only is the portable battery made from a combination of plant-based plastics + recycled aluminum.  The packaging that it comes in is made from recycled scrap paper w/o any adhesives or dyes to make completely biodegradable.  You don’t see many companies go green to that extent.  You don’t get more eco-friendly than that.

This is not just another portable charger.

Nimble’s 8-day portable charger resembles the look of most battery pack w/ that battery capacity w/ the rectangular candy bar shape.  But unlike the others, it has a bit more heft to it.  This is based on the materials used that has this weighing in at a little over 1lbs while others using hardened plastics.  You got an LED indicator on the side to show you how much juice it has as well as to show when you’re using fast-charging.  Did we mention that you can clip its 12inch BPA + PVC free charging cable to it magnetically?  Well, you can.

This is a 20,000 mAh fast-charging battery armed w/ 18-watt USB-C power delivery + Quick Charge 3.0.  You 2 USB-A ports and one USB-C port in regards to input/output.  It sounds like you only have 2 ports at your disposal but you have all 3.  The USB-C doubles as an input/output port as that and one USB-A port are fast-charging ones.  It can give you up to 8 full phone charges out this or 4 full phone charges, one Bluetooth headphone, and my Sony a6300 camera as well.  While I don’t have one, you can use it to charge the newer USB-C MacBooks w/ this thing as well.

This is the best way to power your devices & save the planet at the same time.

Keep in mind that this and other products in the Nimble line of products are more expensive than other affordable ones (like Anker, RavPower, etc.) but not so much the high-end ones (Mophie, etc.)  We reviewed the 8-day portable charger which is a 20,000 mAh battery as they have 3 other chargers in their arsenal.  There’s a 3-day or 10,000 mAh battery on sale for $40, a 5-day or 13,000 mAh battery on sale for $50, our 8-day one is on sale for $60, and finally a 10-day one for 26,800 mAh battery on sale for $80.

So if you’re interested in saving your battery life and the world, you definitely want to pick one of these up.
