With the dumpster fire that has been 2020, hopefully its a good thing that this year is coming to an end.   Hopefully 2021 can be a better year for everyone as a whole.  With the holidays coming up, you might want to spread some joy into your loved one’s live w/ a gift.  We got our gift guide for you filled w/ hot ticket favorites, gear/tools for your nearby creatives, gamers, streamers, podcasters, and thoughtful suggestions for everyone else.

Anker Nano

Plan on picking up a new iPhone 12, don’t expect a charging brick inside of the box.  Anker’s Nano brick is a small 20W charger that gives you the speed of Apple’s.

BlueAVS HDMI Capture Card

Looking for an affordbale way to livestream or gamestream w/o having to buy an Elgato CamLink?  This Blue AVS capture card can get you started in 1080p for cheap.

Chromecast w/ Google TV

Google reinvented their streaming solution this year.  It now has its own remote, Google TV UI, and can now stream just about everything on it.

HBO Max

Definitely one of my favorite but expensive streaming services offering the best from Cartoon Network, DC, WB, & of course legacy HBO content.  I’m waiting for WW84 & the Snyder Cut.

Disney+

For the kid in you and/or for your own kids, Disney+ has a lot to offer from the classic films to the entire MCU in one place to stream it all.  My current favorite is the rebooted DuckTales.

PlayStation Plus

Plan on doing some online multiplayer gaming on your PS4 or PS5?  You’re gonna definitely need this to make it happen.  The bonus of it all is that you can grab really great games top play as well.

Xbox Game Pass

If you own an Xbox of any kind (Xbox to Xbox Series X), Game Pass is a necessary subscription to play online as well as access their growing library of games like Gears 5, Tomb Raider, & more.

Ninja Foodi 2-Basket Air Fryer

For those of you who love cooking, using an air fryer is a much better microwave alternative.  Even though its essentially a convection oven that cooks food faster and not really a fryer despite its name.  Ninja’s Foodi line has a 2 4qt basket air fryer option that would fit great in many homes.  You would be able to set 2 different temperatures as well as cook at the same temp thanks to their DualZone Technology.  You’ll be able to air fry, broil, roast, bake, reheat, & dehydrate.  All while being easy to clean & being dishwasher safe.

Google Nest Audio

Google’s reimagined smart speaker goes from the Google Home to the Nest Audio.  Giving you 75% more volume & 50% more bass than its predecessor for an even cheaper price point.

Jabra Elite 85t

The latest from Jabra is their all-around/everyday earbuds that are the AirPods Pro for everyone else.  You got good audio quality, 6 mics, decent battery life, & amazing noise-cancelling abilities.

Apple AirPods Pro

Even though the next-generation is right around the corner, the AirPods Pro from Apple are the  quintessential earbuds for iPhone users.  Offering good audio, decent battery life, great noise cancelling, & spatial audio.

Apple Pro Apps Bundle

This is the perfect app bundle for creatives from Apple.  You get Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, & MainStage.  Mainly covering your video editing & music/podcasting creation needs w/ 2 licenses per app to get started.  And although it says Educational, they don’t require an .edu acct to use it.

iPad Air

Apple still only makes the only tablet that matters but you no longer need to go Pro to get the best one.  They introduced the new-and-improved iPad Air gives you a large 10.9inch display, fast + powerful A14 Bionic CPU, Touch ID built-into the Power button, & great dual speakers.  All w/o paying over $1,000 for it.

Google Pixel 5

For 2020, Google went for a different approach for the Pixel 5.  You got no larger XL model, no Face Unlock, & no more dedicated image processor.  You do have pure Android, more RAM, 90Hz display, & still on one of the best cameras on a smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

Samsung dropped hella phones this year.  Some might say too many.  One of them is a great middle ground for all and that is the Galaxy S20 FE (or Fan Edition).  You get a 6.5inch 120Hz display, triple rear cameras, 5G, and an all-day battery life for less than $800.

Apple iPhone 12

The past 2 years, Apple has been doing things a little bit different w/ their phones.  The iPhone 12 lineup was no different.  You got 5G support, OLED display, 4K Dolby Vision, & better Night Mode for photos/videos for starting price under $800.

Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War

Another year, another installment of Call Of Duty.  This year takes to their game’s version of the Cold War in this Black Ops experience.  You still got the usual suspects of Frnak Woods & Alex Mason but adds new characters into the mix along w/ President Reagan, CIA, Russian spies, mind control, and more.  You still got the campaign, multiplayer & Zombies at your disposal as well to keep you busy on your current or next-gen console.

Nintendo Switch

We can’t have a gift guide w/o the top-selling console for the past years: the Nintendo Switch.  Still the only portable & at home gaming console is unmatched in versatility.  Same can be said for Nintendo’s game library + IP as well.  They’re currently celebrating Mario’s 35th anniversary w/ some great Mario bundles + titles as well as their online service to access their past library of games from N64, SNES, & NES.

PlayStation 5

The next-gen console from Sony arrives w/ or w/o the 4K Blu-Ray disc drive.  There are a few titles out that really showcase 4K gaming on the PS5 like Miles Morales: Spider-Man, NBA 2K21, & Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.  The DualSense controller is amazing too w/ enhanced haptics + improved triggers.  Good luck finding one though.

Xbox Series X

Microsoft’s next-gen console arrives in 2 verisons: the Series S & the Series X.  We’d opt for the Series X due to what you will wind up paying in storage expansion.  The Series X gives you 4K gaming, ray-tracing graphics, & a new Share button on the new controllers.  Like the PS5, you will have to fight off the bots to get one.

Sony a6600

Looking to dive into content creation like Twitch or YouTube but don’t want to spend a whole lot to get started?  Sony’ a6100 is a great place to start.  This gives you a 24.2MP sensor, 4K @30fps + slow-motion 1080p @120fps, eye-tracking auto-focus, a 3inch flipout LCD touchscreen display,  mic input, and Sony’s larger Z battery to shoot longer.

Sony A7S III

The A7S III is Sony’s latest full-frame mirrorless shooter.  It is a filmmakers dream as well as content creators who want to take their video quality to the next level.  You can shoot 4K up to 120fps w/ this as well as high-quality 10-bit 4:2:2 4K, Sony’s new touchscreen camera menu, and ISO up to 409,600 to see in the dark.
