If you bought an iPhone 5 and have had issues w/ your Power button – you’re not alone. Apple has been made aware of the issue and been prepping to tackle the issue. They have a replacement program where you would send in your i5 and they’ll fix it for you free of cost.
Apparently all iPhone 5 devices put together up until March 2013 may have been affected by the faulty Power button mechanism. The program kicked off on Friday here in the US + Canada as those in other countries affected will have to wait until May 2nd. You have the option to mail-in your i5 or walk into your local Apple Retail Store.
