Ahh yes. The weekend. Perfect time to unwind, relax, read a book, or listen to music and stream some movies and/or TV shows. While it has been a busy week w/ Apple unveiling their new software + hardware (including iPads) along w/ Google's 2014 Nexus unveiling. Pre-orders for just about everything are now live too BTW. We got some new tunes and some older ones for you to rock out to, including a new indie artist we actually met at a Sony event this week that goes by the name of Levina Lye. Our streaming media selection pays homage to all of the awesome DC news revealed earlier this week. Unfortunately Marvel doesn't have much great content outside of their cinematic universe in case you want call us DC fanboys.
Anyhoo, let's kick things off w/ some of our music picks then move onto some TV shows/movies.
Justice League (Netflix)
In honor of the forthcoming DC cinematic universe, this is easily the best look at how the Justice League came to be along w/ a great look at how they operate. This covers many the adventures and many other heroes and villians they come across. Pretty much aligned w/ the DC comics stories as well.
Justice League Unlimited (Netflix)
This is a continuation of the JL series as the roster expands to massive levels. This is an awesome show as it many of DC animated properties, it highlights the psychology of heroes, villians, personal lives as well as the relationships w/ each other.
Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox (Video On-Demand Services)
This is easily the best of DC's animated movie out right now. This is an exceptional story dealing w/ some slight time travel, rewriting history, and violent as hell. Its focused all-around everyone's favorite Flash: Barry Allen and his deviant, opposite Professor Zoom or Reverse Flash. While its not on any streaming services like Netlfix or Hulu Plus, you can find it on various VOD services like Xbox Video, Vudu, Amazon Instant Video, and more.
