Introducing the T-Mobile New Better Value plan, which brings the best of the carrier’s unlimited everything with streaming perks for a reasonable monthly price of $140. The plan is available for new and current T-Mo customers and arrives on January 14.
The Better Value plan includes unlimited premium 5G data, 250GB of high-speed hotspot data, 30GB of high-speed data when traveling to Mexico, Canada, and 215 other countries, unlimited text and data via satellite connectivity, Netflix and Hulu via T-Mo with ads, Apple TV discounted to $3 monthly, and the company’s five-year price guarantee on talk, text, & data.
On paper, it sounds awfully close to T-Mo’s Experience Beyond plan, which costs $170 per month. However, instead of annual upgrades, the Better Value plan allows for upgrades every two years. T-Mobile’s Better Value plan for a minimum of 3 lines will cost you $140 monthly with taxes and fees not included, and then an additional $30 for each new line. The inclusion of the carrier’s 5-year price lock-in should keep T-Mo’s price hikes at bay.
