Earlier today, Google sent out invites to its next Made By Google launch event for its new Pixel 11 phones and other Pixel hardware. On August 12th at 6PM ET, the festivities will begin, as I’m sure the event will be livestreamed.
The official invite image shows off the Pixel 11 family in a stunning gold color option with potentially thinner bezels, a thinner frame, and a redesigned all-black camera bar. We anticipate new AI features powered by Gemini, and one new noteworthy feature is something called ‘Pixel Glow,’ where the area around the rear camera bar lights up for alarms and notifications.
Recent rumors suggest Google will finally ditch the meager 128GB base storage option, however, at the slight price increase. If even Apple can’t evade the memory shortage and has to raise prices on its devices, expect Google to follow suit.
We’re expecting to see the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside two sizes of the Pixel Watch 5 and maybe the Pixel Buds Pro 3.
