Microsoft gives everyday users a 30-day trial period to rock out with its Office program. Of course after that period you must come out of your wallet and purchase the actual program, which starts at $149.99 (maybe even cheaper at Amazon), if you want to continue to using it. Luckily someone is always trying to hack something or everything on the internet. We’ve found a way to reactivate the trial period for another 30-days, up to 5 times for a total of 180 days. To get started all you need to is:
- Make sure all the Office applications are closed.
- Open a Command Prompt (Click Start, type CMD, right-click cmd.exe and select Run as administrator).
- Go to C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform.
- Run OSPPREARM.exe.
As an alternative you can download the Office 2010 Trial Extender Tool courtesy of IntoWindows here.
