Sprint users prepare to get screwed as the 4G WiMAX carrier plans to add on a $10 data increase on 3G smartphone users beginning January 30th. Consider it a premium data add-on for all Sprint users using a BlackBerry, Palm, Android, Windows Mobile, and Instinct platform device. This is a fee that 4G users (EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, & Epic 4G) already pay. The increase is to justify their subscribers using 10 times the mobile data of non-smartphone users. The best value Sprint had to offer, just got a little bit more expensive.
