During Apple’s fourth quarter earnings call, Steve Jobs pretty much cleared the air in regards of any rumors of a 7inch iPad making its way to stores.   Steve explains how 7inches is too small for human fingers to navigate a touchscreen tablet along with saying the iOS software isn’t right for a screen that size.   He also goes on to say how a tablet isn’t meant to go inside of your pocket, that’s what you have a smartphone for.   He expressed his views on the matter more so by saying  tablets that sized won’t work and any iPad competitor sporting a 7inch screen will be dead on arrival.   We shall see if the people agree with you, Mr. Jobs as Samsung’s Galaxy Tab and RIM’s PlayBook will be making their way to consumers soon.
