Among the many announcements during last week’s iPhone 7 event, we actually forgot about one. Beats (now owned by Apple) unveiled 3 new wireless audio solutions to work w/ the iPhone 7. Introducing the Beats X, PowerBeats3 Wireless, and the Beats Solo3 Wireless.
First up, the BeatsX wireless earbuds are the lifestyle around-the-neck headphones. It offers a Flex-Form cable, eartip/wingtip options to improve the fit, magnetic earbuds for a tangle-free comfort, a Lightning port for charging, 8-hour battery life w/ fast charging, and access to Siri + phone calls.
The Powerbeats3 wireless is made for the fitness shakers & movers as they are sweat + water-resistant headphones. You get a 12-hour battery along w/ fast-charging as it can give you a 1-hour of juice after only a 5-minute charge. It has earhooks onboard to offer a good fit while running or exercising and can take calls as well as access Siri too.
And lastly, the most popular product of the Beats line returns w/ the Solo3 Wireless headphones. This marks their 2nd-gen wireless Solo headphones and continues to get even better. You get up to 40 hours of juice on a single charge as you still have Fast Fuel charging to get you up to 3 hours of playback after 5 minutes of charging.
All 3 of the aforementioned products are utilizing Bluetooth Class 1 as well as Apple’s proprietary W1 chip for better battery life, better wireless connection, and sound quality. The BeatsX will be coming sometime this fall in Black/White colors and priced at$150. The Powerbeats3 will also be available on this fall in Black, White, Siren Red, Shock Yellow, & Flash Blue for $200. The Solo3 is taking pre-order as of last week as it will be priced at $300. The available colors will be coming in Gloss Black, Gloss White, Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, and Black.
