According to Pocket-Lint, they are reporting that multiple sources that Microsoft is on deck to announce its refreshed mobile OS on October 11th. They have the Windows Phone 7 event being held in NYC and will provide launch dates. WP7 has ASUS, Dell, HTC, LG, and Samsung on deck as manufacturers to make devices for the OS. Keep this in the rumor file until proven otherwise.
