The Middle East are very unhappy with the security on the web-browsing, e-mail, and BBM services. The United Arab Emirates’ carriers aren’t pleased due to them not being able to control RIM web services so starting October 11th, expect all services to shut down. Looks like UAE has already begun blocking BBM services already.
“With no solution available and in the public interest, in order to affect resolution of this issue, as of October 11, 2010, Blackberry Messenger, Blackberry Email and Blackberry Web-browsing services will be suspended until an acceptable solution can be developed and applied.”
