Engadget.com got tipped on some info with some pics of Verizon’s new 4G LTE network prepping to launch. Above you see a pic of VZW’s 4G Sim card, yes a Sim card. Verizon plans to launch their next-gen network in 30 cities this year starting with 4G modems, then smartphones, and then tablets. Big Red already compares the 4G speeds to Sprint’s ( VZW’s 5-12Mbps vs. Sprint’s 3-6Mbps). Rumored to more than likely come equipped with tiered pricing with their LTE-based 4G network. Looks like maybe it will be a Nov 15th launch after all.
