Within it’s first week of release, it seems like the new i4 is already plagued with different issues. Despite its awesome design overhaul, it may have made it weaker compared to previous models. A report of a 1ft drop of the new i4 causes quite some damage on the glass materials. I mean like really bad cracks. The phone will still work but become severely ugly so please get a case or something. Next dilemma the ailing silver metal band extended antenna causing signal problems & call drops. What was thought of what was a software issues but Apple recently confirmed it as a hardware issues. Apparently holding the i4 in the lower left corner can be a reception killer. Apple offers a fix to either hold it another way or get a case. The actual quote is below.

“Gripping any phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your Phone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”
