Unfortunately our posted rumor is true as Sony now offers a paid PlayStation Online service dubbed PlayStation Plus. PS+ will provide premium content as well as early access to betas and the ability to leave voice messages to other gamers. PS+ is an added premium feature while the PlayStation Network won’t change. PS+ will cost $50 for the year and $18 for 3 months.
