The sales figures of the EVO 4G was overshot by Sprint where the records actually around 150,000 rather than the 250,000 to 300,000 Sprint previously mentioned. Still nonetheless, the phone is still sold out in most places.
Looks like Sprint’s decision to pick up the EVO has definitely paid off. Sprint has sold out of EVO after selling over 200,000 units during its opening weekend. This broke Sprint’s previous records which was previously held by the Palm Pre and Samsung Instinct. For all of those who had to wait to pick up or upgrade to Sprint’s new super phone, may have to wait a little bit longer for its stock to replenish.
