Hello my name is ….G2 uhh…Magic uhhh…no I mean MyTouch. Yes the name of the newest HTC device to T Mobile will be called “MyTouch”. Although it was believed the monicker G2 would be the sequel to the G1, Tmo had other plans. I am sure through careful consideration to the G1 buyers they have decided to go with MyTouch especially since the thought of everytime a new device was you would simply change the number at the end, how boring. Well the techguys were able to get a litle hands on with this much smoother device than its predeccessor. Looks, feel, and oh yes the software is better. (If you have the G1 you should have received the 1.5 cupcake OTA already. It is a big improvement too.)

This phone is a loving sequel to the G1 without a physical keyboard, a slimmer body it is much lighter and feels a hell of a lot more comfortable in your hands than it’s predecessor. I am completely happy with the battery, sim card and the placement of the micro SD card. The back to the battery is also much easier to take off than the back of the G1, (I always felt like I was going to break it). And how about the best of all the 3.2 megapixel camera, but of course still no flash. For more info click here. A few things to note with the MyTouch there will be exclusive apps that current G1 owners will not be able to access, is worth the up grade I will let you decide.
