According to ABC News, Motorola’s upcoming X Phone is said to be personalized to your wants when ordering one. This actually matches up to what we heard about the device a while back. But personalized how you might ask? More than any manufacturer has previously given the option to.
Since the device will be assembled and shipping from the US, you will be able to go to a website to order yours and decide the device’s color, wallpaper, engraving, The color of the trim and back plate of the device. Picking your own customized wallpaper already pre-loaded when you get it. Along with the option of custom engraving on the back plate like Apple does.
The X Phone aims to be Motorola’s return to popular innovation since being acquired by Google.
Keep in mind the mid-range device isn’t going to wow you on specs, but more so with the sensors.
For example: the device will know when it s in your pocket to go in standby, it will know when its in your hands and you want to fire up the cameras, and know when your are in a car. It will adapt to different situations to anticipate your needs.
Moto’s new flagship Android device will be sold online and through the major carriers as well. The X Phone is due out later this year. The more I hear about it, the more I am intrigued.
