More good news for all Android users, DataViz (the company that brings you Documents to Go & RoadSync) is developing their software for Android with an expected ’09 release. Docs to Go allows you to view/edit pdf, word, excel, & powerpoint documents and RoadSync allows Outlook & Exchange support. All we need now is good IM app (BeeJive we’re still waiting on you. As Rogers already released the Curve 8900, Blackberry provides you with an actual product page. It shows you all the specs, some photos and a promo video of the device. Hopefully a U.S. carrier will be dropping this soon. Check it out here.


Verizon has released a 4.7 OS upgrade for the Storm. This is to clean up all the bugs that haven’t been cleaned up. Here’s the website in case you haven’t heard about it already, www.vzam.net/blackberry/. Below is exactly what is supposed to be fixed with the upgrade:

* Device may reset intermittently while sitting idle or when using multimedia applications
* User may experience one-way audio (incoming audio is muted) when using voice activated dialing
* When listening to music on low volume while wearing wired headphones, the volume of the music will increase to the highest level when the user receives an incoming call
* Improvements in display performance in terms of switching between landscape and portrait modes and keys displaying correctly
* Improvements in performance for multimedia capabilities such as video, music and MMS
* Improvements in bluetooth audio performance in certain scenarios

AKM Semiconductor Inc., ARM, ASUSTek Computer Inc., Atheros Communications, Borqs, Ericsson, Garmin International Inc., Huawei Technologies, Omron Software Co.
