Thanks to Verizon and the buy one Blackberry get the other free marketing, the Blackberry Curve is now the #1 best selling consumer smartphone according to NPD during the 1st quarter. This brings the iPhone down to the #2 spot. Even the G1 ranked #5, which i thought was a surprise. Here’s the top 5 list as follows:
- RIM BlackBerry Curve (all 83XX models)
- Apple iPhone 3G (all models)
- RIM BlackBerry Storm
- RIM BlackBerry Pearl (all models, except flip)
- T-Mobile G1
