We thought we give you a full rundown of the BBM 5.0 beta and its features. Other than the new user interface/look, you can link your contacts (PIN, avatar,& other info) to your address book as well as the ability to backup/restore your contact list to your device or memory card. You can add contacts/barcodes via PIN or email like the old way but now you can scan your contact’s barcode (every user has their own barcode). Broadcast messages to multiple contacts simutaneously. User options changed like now you can edit avatar, change your status, and edit location options. Recent options screen allows you to show any recent activity, who was added, updated staus.
