As of midnight the Storm 2 was available online at Verizon Wireless stores and now today you can pick yours up at an actual retail store. Let us know how like the new Storm 2 compared to the original one.
I found some tips when opening up & playing with your new toy. Salomondrin.net has two main things to look out for:
1) A Bad Screen: Turn on your Storm 2 and make sure all four corners click evenly. I only had this problem personally with 1 of my phones, and I’m pretty sure it was because the phone was dropped before I got it.
2) Working Wifi: Make sure your WiFi works on the phone. I never had this problem, but I heard from a few people that their Wifi was never able to establish a connection.
