Palm preps to release their 2nd device using WebOS, the Palm Pixi. As you can see it’s the Pre minus the sliding screen. The Pixi has a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.63 inch multi-touch screen (w/ 320 x 400 resolution), 2MP camera w/flash, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 8GB internal memory w/ expansion via MicroSD, and 1150 mAr battery with up to 5 hr talk time. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any Wi-Fi capabilities, which is a downer. The Palm Pixi is due out on November 15th for $99.99 ($50 instant & $100 mail-in rebates). Kinda up there with the pricing which may not be the smartest move by Palm/Sprint. Hit the link below for the official release.
