Phonescoop recieved some info in regards to T-Mobile’s 3G service. Currently T-Mo’s 3G covers 240 cities across the US with plans of boosting it up to 7.2Mbps by this year’s end. Here’s what info they got on the next 3G boost:
T-Mobile indicated that a number of handsets available on its network can access these faster speeds, including the HTC G1, myTouch 3G, TouchPro2 and Dash 3G, and the Motorola CLIQ and Samsung Behold II. T-Mobile is already trialling 21Mbps HSPA+ in the Philadelphia market, and plans to upgrade its HSPA footprint to HSPA+ across the country beginning in the middle of 2010.
