Verizon plans to do a makeover on their pricing on data during 2010. Effective January 18th new rate plans like their unlimited talk for $69.99 and unlimited talk/text/pic/video messaging for $89.99. New family plan rates include $119.99 for talk and $149.99 for talk/text for 2 lines. A data plan is required for the new plans as well. For the simpler phones (enV Touch, Alias 2) require at least the $9.99 25MB data plan w/ Mobile E-mail and for smartphones (BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android) require the $29.99 unlimited data plan w/ Mobile E-Mail.
