Time to review my new toy: the Asus Eee PC 1005 netbook! I’ve have been blogging with this badboy and is the main reason for the site being back. The Asus Eee PC weighs in at 2.9 lbs, powered by the Intel 1.66 GHz Atom N450 processor, 10.1 inch screen w/ 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB of RAM, 250GB HD, 3 in 1 card reader with Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g/n support. It also has 3 USB ports, standard headset/mic jack, VGA port, and ethernet port.
The Asus is running Windows 7 Starter which is a basic OS of Windows 7 which should get you by for your everyday internet browsing. I got about 8 & 1/2-9hrs of battery life although it proposes 11 hours which is a huge plus for me. Between me & my other half, we have to charge it like every other day or so.
Believe it or not, I have nothing negative to say about this netbook. So pardon if i don’t do the Good, Bad, and TG 2 cents format on this review. I had about $600 put aside for a laptop but then my best friend Greg introduced the idea of getting a netbook after he got his. So I bought this for $329.99+ tax and a Samsung Slim DVD burner for $65+tax. I have been using this for about full 8 days now and I am definitely NOT returning it at this point.

So if anyone is looking for something they don’t have to constantly charge when they’re in Barnes & Nobles/Starbucks/Whole Foods while browsing or doing homework. This is definitely a great buy, I recommend this ASUS Eee PC netbook. I got mines from Best Buy but you can shop around on the net and may find it cheaper than $329.99. Enjoy!
