Barnes and Nobles’ first entry into the e-reader market has just received an update adding nice new treats to make those who purchased the Nook seem worthwhile. This software update has added games, better Wi-Fi connectivity (in-store where you can read free books while inside of your local B&N store) and a bare-faced beta web browser. Also the menu, reading, and performance has been improved along with the music player. Check out below the changes and the link that follows to get started or assistance in updating.

- The breakthrough Read In Store experience, now in beta, which allows you to read complete eBooks in Barnes & Noble stores.
- Sudoku and Chess
- Wi-FiĀ® connectivity in more hotspots and a beta basic Web browser. Plus, additional reading and performance improvements, such as faster page turns and an enhanced home screen.
