For everyone who picked up an iPad this weekend, we found some helpful tips for those who may or may not be new to Apple’s iPhone OS. Check them out below:
Reset Device- Hold the Power & Home buttons until the device reboots itself.
Copying Text- Tap a word 2 times to highlight and tap a paragraph 4 times to highlight.
Quick Mute- Hold down the Volume Down button for 2 seconds to mute.
Big Screen Shots- Hold the Power and Home buttons for a second to capture a screen.
Fast Web Scrolling- Tap the title bar once to go to the top of the screen while in Safari.
Use A Digital Photo Frame- When the iPad is locked, click on the flower icon. When the slideshow begins, change the speed in the Settings.
Import Other Books- The iPad only supports ePub files, Project Gutenburg is a good spot to get free books and convert PDFs & other DRM-free formats to ePub use Calibre. Import these files into iTunes and enjoy.
