Dell appears to continue bringing more Android-powered devices to the masses. The blogosphere has spotted a Dell roadmap which leaks new products coming soon. First off, the Streak will be available in 3 different versions to cater to 3 different markets. T-Mobile (US) is set for one, Vodafone (UK) is set for theirs, and so it China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile (China) are all on board to release a Streak using their own 3G bands. The T-Mo & Vodafone Streaks shows a 2nd quarter release while the China Streak will come in the 3rd Q.
Next, the Looking Glass (the Streak’s 7inch big brother) will be arriving in a standard and Pro model. The Looking Glass Pro looks to have a HD screen along with a digital TV tuner built-in so far making it the only differences between the standard & pro. The LG Pro looks to have a early 2012 release while the standard LG has a 3rd quarter 2011 release.
And last but not least, introducing the Dell Sparta and Athens netbooks Android-powered netbooks. The Sparta comes equipped with an 11 inch touchscreen w/ 1024 x 768 resolution, ARM processor, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a very unique swivel design implemented where the screen hangs from its frame. And the Athens seems to have the same specs as the Sparta, minus the swivel design and touchscreen. The Sparta and Athens looks to be scheduled for the end of 2011 release date.
