Well as we hoped, RIM made the 9650 and 9100 series official early this morning. We’ve already informed our readers on the known specs of these devices but let’s get official. The Bold 9650 is a world phone, running 5.0 OS, Wi-Fi b/g support, armed w/ a trackpad, 3.2 MP camera w/ autofocus & flash, GPS, a boost in memory (now 512MB app memory), but no official word on the processor. The 3G Pearl is also running 5.0 OS, has a 360 x 400 display, 3.2MP camera w/ autofocus & flash, GPS, 256MB of memory, 624MHz processor, and Wi-Fi (b/g/n support the BB device with N). The 3G Pearl will come available in a SureType format (9100) and a T9 format (9105). Both the 9650 and the 9100 series are due out sometime in May.
